HypeAuditor Alternative: Buy the Creator Data, Not the Suite
HypeAuditor is a full influencer marketing platform: discovery, fraud scoring, campaign tracking and reporting. Its public pricing page carries no figures, and its own wording is that rates depend on how long a contract you sign. If the part you use is the creator data, that is a lot of workflow to commit to.
HypeAuditor is an influencer marketing platform sold through sales, built to run discovery, vetting, campaigns and reporting in one place, with pricing quoted per contract rather than published. 1Lookup is not a platform: it is a set of data endpoints you call from whatever tool you already run campaigns in, at a rate printed on the pricing page.
The data underneath the dashboard
Each row pairs a job the platform does with the endpoint that returns the raw material for it, priced per call.

Account vetting: is this creator real and worth the fee

10 credits per matched profile

Audience geography before you approve a campaign
TikTok Audience Demographics API
The follower-country split for a TikTok handle: every country with its ISO code and its percentage share, so you can see whether the audience is where you sell.

Discovering creators in a category
Social Search API
A keyword returns a page of matching public profiles and content, which you can pipe straight into your own shortlist rather than a vendor's UI.

1Lookup vs HypeAuditor: the same criteria, side by side
Both products measured on identical criteria, with HypeAuditor’s numbers taken from its own published pricing.
| Criteria | ||
|---|---|---|
| Pricing model | Monthly plans with universal credits; core phone, email and IP lookups cost 1 credit, enrichment and intelligence products cost more | Subscription plans quoted by sales, with the rate depending on contract length; the public pricing page carries no plan table and no figures |
| Starting price | $99/mo for 20,000 credits ($4.95 per 1,000, down to $2.00 on Enterprise) | $299/month for the Basic plan billed annually. This is the only price published on any HypeAuditor property and it appears on a blog post rather than the pricing page. No PRO or Enterprise price is published anywhere, and no API price is published at all |
| Free option | Free single lookups via the online tools at 1lookup.io/tools, no account required | A free account with no card required: track 10 campaigns with 150 influencers, view market landscape, top quality accounts, top trending and most mentioned brands. Separately, 40+ free standalone tools including an engagement rate calculator, fake follower check and account auditor |
| Free trial | 7-day free trial on every plan: $5 of credits on Starter, $20 on Growth, Professional, and Enterprise (card required, nothing charged up front) | By request only. Their FAQ states trials are offered on a case-by-case basis; no duration is published |
| Do credits expire? | Unused monthly credits roll over for 3 months; separately purchased credits last 1 year | Not published |

HypeAuditor

Where HypeAuditor wins
- Among the largest publicly claimed creator databases in the category: the discovery page states 227.3M+ accounts with 35+ filters across Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, X and Twitch
- Audience-side data is their deepest asset and hard to replicate: audience country and city, age and gender, ethnicity, languages, interests and size, plus Instagram-only estimated income, education and marital status
- Purpose-built fraud detection that most raw-data APIs do not attempt at all, using a model they describe as relying on over 53 patterns to detect low-quality followers, surfaced as a quality score per platform with detection of engagement pods and giveaways
- One product spans the whole workflow rather than selling raw data: discovery, analytics, influencer CRM and outreach, campaign management, media plans and competitor analysis
- A real documented REST API with report endpoints for six platforms plus discovery, lists, campaign management, account media, brand mentions and competitor analysis
Where 1Lookup wins
- The rate is published, so you can price the job before speaking to anyone
- Priced per lookup, so cost tracks the creators you actually check rather than the term you signed
- No annual commitment, and no quote to wait for
- The data goes into your tools: your shortlist, your scoring model, your reporting
- One credit balance shared with phone, email and IP validation

Who this is for
A quick, honest read on which tool fits your use case.
Choose 1Lookup if: the part you actually use is the creator data, and you would rather pay per lookup than per seat for discovery, campaign and reporting features you already have elsewhere.
Consider HypeAuditor instead if: you want a full influencer marketing platform: a computed fraud score, audience age and gender breakdowns, campaign management and reporting in one place.
Frequently asked questions
How much does HypeAuditor cost?
Their pricing page publishes no figures at all: no plan table, no tier names, no prices. The one number published anywhere on their site appears on a blog post rather than the pricing page, and their own wording is that rates depend on subscription term with the best rates on two-year agreements. The verified table on this page records exactly what we could read and marks the rest as not published.
Is 1Lookup a HypeAuditor replacement?
Only if what you want is the data. HypeAuditor gives you campaign management, creator outreach, reporting templates, audience age and gender breakdowns, and a fraud score computed for you across a very large creator index. We give you the public numbers a vetting decision rests on. Teams already running campaigns in a spreadsheet, an agency tool or their own product tend to want the second one.
Do you score fake followers?
We do not publish a single fraud score, and we would rather say so than ship a number we cannot defend. What we return are the inputs an analyst uses: follower and following counts, post volume, account age signals, verified and private flags, and engagement figures per post. If you want one score out of the box, that is a real reason to choose a platform that computes one.
Can I check audience age and gender?
No. Our audience endpoint returns follower countries only, each with an ISO code and a percentage share, and only for TikTok. Age and gender breakdowns are a genuine gap against platform vendors. We list it plainly on the product page rather than in a footnote.
What does it cost to vet a shortlist of 50 creators?
A profile check is 10 credits and the TikTok audience split is 40. Vetting 50 creators on profile data alone is 500 credits; adding the country split for the 10 that make the cut adds 400. The rate card and what that works out to in dollars is on the pricing page, and handles that no longer exist are not charged at all.
Is there a contract or a minimum commitment?
No. Plans are monthly, credits are shared across every 1Lookup product including phone, email and IP validation, and unused monthly credits roll over for three months. A card is required to start the trial. There is no quote to request and no term to negotiate, which is the whole point of a published rate.
