5 Best Clearbit Alternatives in 2026

Clearbit is the enrichment pioneer now folded into HubSpot as Breeze Intelligence, no longer sold standalone. Here is the shortlist worth your time, compared on verified pricing, coverage, and the catch each vendor’s own page will not tell you.

Clearbit can no longer be bought on its own, so the best alternative depends on your stack. HubSpot customers get its successor natively as Breeze Intelligence. Everyone else replaces it per job: 1Lookup for pay-per-lookup enrichment and validation APIs, Apollo.io for enrichment inside a prospecting platform, ZoomInfo for enterprise depth, and Hunter for domain-first email work.

Disclosure: this site is built by 1Lookup. It appears on this list where it genuinely fits, and we say plainly when a competitor is the better choice.

Why teams look beyond Clearbit

  • Not available outside HubSpot: new customers cannot buy Clearbit standalone ("Clearbit is no longer offering new standalone Clearbit subscriptions" - help.clearbit.com), so Salesforce, Pipedrive, or custom-stack teams are excluded; legacy Clearbit APIs serve existing contracted customers only
  • Enrichment does not append person-level contact channels: HubSpot's enrichable contact-property list contains no email address (work email is only the matching input) and no personal/direct-dial phone; phone number is enrichable only as a company-level main line
  • No public per-lookup enrichment API for new customers - enrichment is a CRM feature, not a metered lookup endpoint you can call from your own product or non-HubSpot workflows
  • HubSpot Credits expire monthly with no rollover, and credit-consuming features require paid seats (free and view-only users cannot use credits); standalone Smart CRM and Revenue Hub subscriptions get enrichment only at Professional+
  • Clearbit's well-known free ecosystem is gone: free platform/Weekly Visitor Report/Connect sunset April 30, 2025, and pricing has been restructured twice in about a year (Breeze Intelligence credit packs converted to HubSpot Credits June 2025, then enrichment folded into paid tiers), making historical price references unreliable

These are factual scope and pricing characteristics, not knocks; Clearbit remains the right tool for the buyers described in the verdict section below.

The shortlist, in order

1Lookup logo1. 1LookupOur product

Best standalone replacement: enrichment and validation as per-lookup APIs

Pick 1Lookup when you used Clearbit as an API and want person, company, and contact enrichment plus validation billed per successful lookup, self-serve, with no platform migration attached.

Starting price
$99/mo for 20,000 credits ($4.95 per 1,000, down to $2.00 on Enterprise)
Free option
Free single lookups via the online tools at 1lookup.io/tools, no account required
The catch
Younger brand with a smaller public review footprint than long-established incumbents

Apollo.io logo2. Apollo.io

Best all-in-one sales platform on a budget

Pick Apollo.io when your reps want prospecting, sequencing, dialing, and email in one seat-based tool, and a free tier to start from matters more than per-lookup economics.

Starting price
$49 per seat/month billed annually (Basic, $588/seat/yr) including 30,000 credits per seat per year granted upfront; $65/seat/mo billed monthly (2,500 credits/seat/mo). Professional is $79/seat/mo annually ($99 monthly, 48,000 credits/seat/yr); Organization is $119/seat/mo, annual billing only (72,000 credits/seat/yr)
Free option
Free plan at $0: 900 credits per seat per year granted monthly (75/mo), AI Assistant (5-chat limit), 2 sequences per team, 25-record selection limit, 250 emails/day, 5,000 AI-writing words/mo, Gmail/Microsoft email integration only, website-visitor ID for 20 companies/mo. Free plans are limited to 1 seat after 100 days of active use, and the pricing FAQ says phone-number access is only for a limited time before it is disabled unless you upgrade
The catch
Phone numbers consume 8 credits vs 1 for a verified email, and enrichment up to 9 credits per record (pricing FAQ), so the advertised credit allowances stretch far less for mobile-heavy or enrichment-heavy workflows (e.g. Basic's 30,000 credits = only 3,750 phone numbers/yr)

Reviewers rate it 4.7/5 on G2 from 9,300+ reviews (verified July 2026). Full review breakdown

ZoomInfo logo3. ZoomInfo

Best enterprise depth: US coverage, intent, and org charts

Pick ZoomInfo when you are an enterprise revenue team with a procurement cycle, and platform breadth plus the deepest US database outweigh self-serve pricing.

Starting price
Core platform: not publicly listed - every contract is sales-quoted. Self-serve GTM AI by ZoomInfo: pay-as-you-go top-ups starting at $20; data credits list at $0.35/record ($0.10/credit limited-time launch promo, auto-applied to your first 5,000), AI credits $0.05/credit flat.
Free option
ZoomInfo Lite: permanent free tier, no credit card, no expiration - 10 credits/mo (25/mo with Community Edition contribution), advanced contact/company search, contact exports, Chrome extension (ReachOut), WebSights Lite (up to 10 visitor reveals/day), email sending, HubSpot CRM integration. GTM AI: 100 data + 500 AI credits free at signup, free search/lookup/find-similar, and free-tier MCP, API, and CLI access (5 req/sec, 5 apps).
The catch
Core platform pricing is not published anywhere: ZoomInfo's own pricing guide states no dollar amounts are listed because pricing is consumption-based and varies by organization; paid plans are "billed annually, not monthly" with "no standard monthly billing option"

Reviewers rate it 4.5/5 on G2 from 9,100+ reviews (verified July 2026). Full review breakdown

Hunter.io logo4. Hunter.io

Best for domain-first email finding with built-in verification

Pick Hunter.io when your prospecting starts from company domains and you want found addresses with confidence scores plus verification in one simple tool, and phone numbers are not the priority.

Starting price
$49/mo for 2,000 credits ($34/mo billed yearly, -30%); 2,000 credits = up to 2,000 email searches or up to 4,000 verifications (verification costs 0.5 credit)
Free option
Free plan: 50 credits/mo (= up to 100 verifications or 50 searches), 1 connected email account, 500 recipients per sequence, basic Discover filters, unlimited team members
The catch
Email-only: no phone number or IP address validation/intelligence

Lusha logo5. Lusha

Best browser extension for rep-driven contact grabbing

Pick Lusha when your team's core motion is pulling contact details from LinkedIn profiles one at a time while browsing, and a simple monthly credit tier beats API flexibility.

Starting price
$49.90/mo for Starter with 400 credits/mo (= up to 400 email reveals or 40 phone reveals); $37.45/mo billed annually ($449.10/yr for 4,800 credits/yr)
Free option
Free plan at $0 with up to 40 credits/month (= up to 40 email reveals or 4 phone reveals at current credit costs); includes the browser extension and CRM integrations. Free-plan credits reset monthly and do not carry over.
The catch
Phone numbers cost 10 credits vs 1 credit per email (per the live pricing page), so plan allowances effectively shrink 10x for phone-centric workflows - Starter's 400 credits buy only 40 phone numbers (~$1.25 each)

Migration effort

Audit which Clearbit endpoints you actually call (person enrichment, company lookup, reveal, risk) and map each to its replacement before switching anything; field names differ, so budget a mapping pass in your schema. Re-run a recent sample through the new provider and diff fill rates on the fields your workflows depend on, not overall match rate.

Clearbit alternatives FAQ

What happened to Clearbit?

HubSpot acquired Clearbit and folded it into Breeze Intelligence. Clearbit's help center states new standalone subscriptions are no longer offered, and its legacy free tools were sunset in April 2025. Existing HubSpot customers get the technology as Breeze credits; everyone else needs a replacement.

What is the best Clearbit replacement for API enrichment?

If you called Clearbit's enrichment endpoints from your product, the closest like-for-like swap is another per-call API. 1Lookup covers person and company enrichment, email and phone validation, and reverse lookups on one credit system with success billing. Apollo.io also exposes enrichment endpoints if you want its platform around them.

Should HubSpot customers just use Breeze Intelligence?

Usually yes: it is the direct continuation of Clearbit's data inside the CRM you already pay for, with enrichment sold as Breeze credits on top of seats. The case for an external API instead is workload shape: high-volume or product-embedded enrichment priced per lookup, independent of CRM seat counts.

When is a bigger platform the right replacement?

If Clearbit was quietly powering your prospecting rather than just enrichment, a data platform fits better: Apollo.io for self-serve teams, ZoomInfo for enterprise coverage and intent. If it powered forms and routing, make sure whatever you pick exposes real-time APIs rather than batch-only enrichment.

Test the all-in-one option first

1Lookup’s 7-day free trial includes $20 of credits across phone, email, and IP validation. Run your own numbers before you decide.
