5 Best Social Blade Alternatives in 2026

Social Blade is a long-running public statistics site for social media creators. Here is the shortlist worth your time, compared on verified pricing, coverage, and the catch each vendor’s own page will not tell you.

The best Social Blade alternative depends on whether you want history or answers. 1Lookup returns live public creator data as an API call across ten networks and adds post, transcript and ad-library endpoints. HypeAuditor and Modash suit teams buying a full influencer workflow, and Apify suits teams happy to run scrapers themselves.

Disclosure: this site is built by 1Lookup. It appears on this list where it genuinely fits, and we say plainly when a competitor is the better choice.

Why teams look beyond Social Blade

  • Five platforms only: YouTube, TikTok, Twitch, Facebook and Instagram. X, LinkedIn, Threads, Bluesky, Reddit and Pinterest are absent from both the site navigation and the API docs
  • The published API is 10 endpoints in total, a statistics and a top-list call per platform. There is no transcript, ad-library, audience-demographic or post-metrics endpoint, and the only post-level field carries identifiers with no engagement metrics attached
  • API access is prepaid-credit only, with a 100-credit $50.00 minimum and no per-call pay-as-you-go billing. Free zero-credit calls work only against Social Blade's own accounts, so arbitrary profiles cannot be evaluated before purchase
  • Credit cost scales past 1 per lookup for common jobs: top lists cost 20 credits per page of 100 results with access expiring 48 hours after the first query, and deeper history costs 2, 3 or 5 credits
  • Pricing is per profile per platform with no cross-platform identity linking, so one creator on YouTube and Instagram is two separate credits

These are factual scope and pricing characteristics, not knocks; Social Blade remains the right tool for the buyers described in the verdict section below.

The shortlist, in order

1Lookup logo1. 1LookupOur product

Best for live creator data returned as JSON, across ten networks

Pick 1Lookup when you want follower counts, post engagement, video transcripts and ad-library results as API responses your own software reads, in bulk, priced per lookup.

Starting price
$99/mo for 20,000 credits ($4.95 per 1,000, down to $2.00 on Enterprise)
Free option
Free single lookups via the online tools at 1lookup.io/tools, no account required
The catch
Younger brand with a smaller public review footprint than long-established incumbents

Modash logo2. Modash

Best for discovering creators you have never heard of

Pick Modash when the job is search: filtering a large indexed creator set by audience and performance criteria to build a shortlist from nothing.

Starting price
SaaS platform: $199/month (Essentials, shown reduced from $299) for 2 seats, 300 profile opens and 150 email unlocks a month. The APIs are priced separately and are not included: Raw API starts at $10,000/year for 40,000 requests/month ($0.02 per request); Discovery API starts at $16,200/year for 3,000 credits/month ($0.45 per credit)
Free option
None
The catch
Covers three platforms: Instagram, TikTok and YouTube. Both the API product page and the docs state that scope

HypeAuditor logo3. HypeAuditor

Best full influencer marketing platform with fraud scoring built in

Pick HypeAuditor when you want discovery, a computed authenticity score, audience age and gender breakdowns, campaign management and reporting in one product rather than data you assemble yourself.

Starting price
$299/month for the Basic plan billed annually. This is the only price published on any HypeAuditor property and it appears on a blog post rather than the pricing page. No PRO or Enterprise price is published anywhere, and no API price is published at all
Free option
A free account with no card required: track 10 campaigns with 150 influencers, view market landscape, top quality accounts, top trending and most mentioned brands. Separately, 40+ free standalone tools including an engagement rate calculator, fake follower check and account auditor
The catch
The public pricing page publishes no prices: it shows request-demo and sign-up calls to action with no plan table, no tier names and no dollar figures

Apify logo4. Apify

Best for scraping anything, not just social platforms

Pick Apify when your targets go beyond social profiles and posts, or you need control over exactly which fields get collected and are willing to run and maintain the scraper yourself.

Starting price
$29/mo Starter ($26/mo billed annually) includes $29 of prepaid platform usage - enough for ~12,600 Instagram results/mo at the official Instagram Scraper's $2.30 per 1,000-result Starter rate
Free option
Free plan: $5 of platform usage credit every month (~1,850 Instagram Scraper results at its $2.70 per 1,000 Free-plan rate), 25 concurrent runs, community support
The catch
Two-layer pricing: Actor fees draw from a platform subscription's prepaid usage ($29-$999/mo tiers), and unused prepaid usage expires at the end of each billing cycle with no rollover

Phyllo logo5. Phyllo

Best for private creator metrics the account holder opts to share

Pick Phyllo when your creators will connect their own accounts and you need reach, impressions and audience data that no public page exposes.

Starting price
$399/month (Startup) for up to 2,000 monitored accounts across the Identity, Engagement, Audience and Comments APIs, with dedicated chat support
Free option
Free plan for up to 250 monitored accounts across the Identity, Engagement, Audience and Comments APIs, with a 6-business-hour support SLA. Their developer page states no credit card is required and API keys arrive in minutes
The catch
Pricing is per monitored account per month, not per call or per lookup, so there is no published per-request rate to compare against a usage-priced API

Migration effort

There is little to migrate: these are read-only lookups, so switching means changing where the numbers come from. Expect field names and response shapes to differ, so map your columns once. Historical growth series do not transfer, and a live-lookup API cannot backfill them, so export anything you need to keep before you cancel.

Social Blade alternatives FAQ

What is the best Social Blade alternative?

For programmatic access to live creator data, 1Lookup covers ten networks through one endpoint and adds post lookups, video transcripts and ad-library search. For influencer campaign workflows with fraud scoring and audience demographics, HypeAuditor and Modash are the closer fits. For scraping targets beyond social entirely, Apify.

Is there a free Social Blade alternative?

1Lookup runs free, login-free web tools that answer the same one-off questions: a profile viewer for follower and post counts, a username checker across ten networks, a video transcript generator and an engagement rate calculator. They are rate limited by IP, which is the trade for requiring no account.

Does Social Blade have an API?

Yes. Social Blade sells a credit-based Business API for statistics on a handful of platforms, separate from its website subscriptions. The verified pricing table on the comparison page records the per-credit rates and pack sizes we could read from their live pages, along with what those credits do and do not cover.

Why do teams look for an alternative?

The usual reasons are breadth and shape: needing more networks than the statistics endpoints cover, needing post-level or ad-level data rather than account-level totals, or wanting results in a pipeline rather than a page. Teams that specifically want long daily growth history usually stay.

Test the all-in-one option first

1Lookup’s 7-day free trial includes $20 of credits across phone, email, and IP validation. Run your own numbers before you decide.
