6 Best Prospeo Alternatives in 2026

Prospeo is a per-seat B2B search and enrichment platform with one shared credit pool. Here is the shortlist worth your time, compared on verified pricing, coverage, and the catch each vendor’s own page will not tell you.

The best Prospeo alternative depends on whether you need the search. If you already know who you are looking up, 1Lookup returns a verified work email from a profile URL per call with no seat pricing. FullEnrich and Findymail are the closest finder swaps, Apollo.io covers search plus sequencing, and LeadMagic covers a wider endpoint catalogue.

Disclosure: this site is built by 1Lookup. It appears on this list where it genuinely fits, and we say plainly when a competitor is the better choice.

Why teams look beyond Prospeo

  • It is not a validation service: there is no standalone email verification, no phone validation, no line type or HLR data and no IP product, and no way to pass in an address or number you already hold and pay to check it. Verification only ever arrives attached to a find
  • Nothing rolls over anywhere. Monthly, yearly and add-on credits all expire at the cycle end, a yearly plan's unused balance dies at the annual renewal, and switching billing period wipes add-on credits on the spot
  • Price and credits are per seat: a 3-seat Pro plan is three times $249/month for 45,000 pooled credits, all seats must sit on the same tier, and removing a seat destroys that seat's credits immediately
  • Subscription only, with no pay-as-you-go and no per-call billing. The cheapest paid entry is $49/month, and Credit Add-ons require an active paid plan
  • A mobile costs 10 credits against the same pool as emails, so a plan's headline credit count shrinks tenfold for phone work: Starter's 2,000 credits is 200 mobiles
  • API throughput below the top tier is thin, and search over the API is metered: Starter allows 2,000 enrich calls and 1,000 search calls a day, Growth 5,000 and 4,000, and each search request that returns results costs 1 credit for up to 25 rows with no contact data
  • No contractual SLA and no SOC 2 or ISO 27001 claim on any Prospeo page: the terms state Prospeo does "not promise outcomes, accuracy, coverage, or uninterrupted service", while their Data Enrichment API page markets "99.99% uptime"
  • The output licence is restrictive: no resale or redistribution, no using outputs to build a competing database or model, no caching beyond what the plan allows, and no making "safe-to-call", "safe-to-email" or accuracy claims to third parties based on Prospeo data

These are factual scope and pricing characteristics, not knocks; Prospeo remains the right tool for the buyers described in the verdict section below.

The shortlist, in order

1Lookup logo1. 1LookupOur product

Best when you already know who you are looking up

Pick 1Lookup when the search is not the part you need: you hold the profile URLs and want a verified work email per call, with no seat to buy and nothing expiring at the end of the cycle.

Starting price
$99/mo for 20,000 credits ($4.95 per 1,000, down to $2.00 on Enterprise)
Free option
Free single lookups via the online tools at 1lookup.io/tools, no account required
The catch
Younger brand with a smaller public review footprint than long-established incumbents

Findymail logo2. Findymail

Best for reps who find contacts while browsing LinkedIn

Pick Findymail when your sellers work in the browser rather than through an endpoint, and you want a miss to cost nothing on a plan that also buys phone numbers.

Starting price
$49/month for 1,000 credits (Basic), which is $0.049 per email found or $0.49 per phone number. The plan most of their pages lead with is Starter at $99/month for 5,000 finder credits plus 5,000 bonus verifier credits, $0.0198 per email found; $990/year billed annually
Free option
No recurring free plan. Sign-up grants a one-off allowance: "Sign up for a free account and get 10 credits to test Findymail. No credit card required." An API key is issued on that free account, so the API can be called before paying
The catch
It finds contacts; it does not check ones you already hold on any channel but email. There is no phone validation as distinct from phone finding, no line type, carrier, HLR or reachability product, and no IP intelligence, so fraud screening and number-deliverability work need another vendor

FullEnrich logo3. FullEnrich

Best find rate, by routing one request through many vendors

Pick FullEnrich when coverage is the whole point and you would rather buy one waterfall than sign a contract with each of the vendors inside it.

Starting price
$29/month for 500 credits ($0.058 a credit) on the Pro monthly ladder, which is up to 500 verified work emails found or 50 mobile numbers found. Billed yearly the entry rung is $312/year for 6,000 credits ($0.052 a credit). The pricing page's own slider defaults one rung up, at 1,000 credits a month for $55
Free option
Free trial: "50 credits to start", "No credit card", and extra credits for inviting team members. Full Pro feature access on it, including the API, MCP server, CRM integrations and bulk CSV. 50 credits is 50 work emails, or 5 mobile numbers at 10 credits each
The catch
No standalone verification: the documented endpoint set is enrich, reverse email lookup, people search, company search, lookup, credit balance and key check. There is no endpoint that takes an email or phone you already hold and returns a validity verdict, no phone validation, no line type or HLR data and no IP product. Verification runs only on data FullEnrich itself found

Apollo.io logo4. Apollo.io

Best all-in-one sales platform on a budget

Pick Apollo.io when your reps want prospecting, sequencing, dialing, and email in one seat-based tool, and a free tier to start from matters more than per-lookup economics.

Starting price
$49 per seat/month billed annually (Basic, $588/seat/yr) including 30,000 credits per seat per year granted upfront; $65/seat/mo billed monthly (2,500 credits/seat/mo). Professional is $79/seat/mo annually ($99 monthly, 48,000 credits/seat/yr); Organization is $119/seat/mo, annual billing only (72,000 credits/seat/yr)
Free option
Free plan at $0: 900 credits per seat per year granted monthly (75/mo), AI Assistant (5-chat limit), 2 sequences per team, 25-record selection limit, 250 emails/day, 5,000 AI-writing words/mo, Gmail/Microsoft email integration only, website-visitor ID for 20 companies/mo. Free plans are limited to 1 seat after 100 days of active use, and the pricing FAQ says phone-number access is only for a limited time before it is disabled unless you upgrade
The catch
Phone numbers consume 8 credits vs 1 for a verified email, and enrichment up to 9 credits per record (pricing FAQ), so the advertised credit allowances stretch far less for mobile-heavy or enrichment-heavy workflows (e.g. Basic's 30,000 credits = only 3,750 phone numbers/yr)

Reviewers rate it 4.7/5 on G2 from 9,300+ reviews (verified July 2026). Full review breakdown

LeadMagic logo5. LeadMagic

Best single wallet across a wide endpoint catalogue

Pick LeadMagic when you want work emails, mobiles, company records, job-change and hiring signals on one key, with bulk jobs measured in hundreds of thousands of rows.

Starting price
$49.99/month for Basic with 2,000 credits a month ($490/year for 24,000 credits, a printed $0.0204 a credit). At 1 credit per valid email that is up to 2,000 found emails, but only 400 found mobiles or 400 profile-URL-to-email lookups, both of which cost 5 credits each. No pay-as-you-go rate and no one-off credit pack is published as an entry point
Free option
Not verifiable. The pricing page lists an "Is there a free trial?" FAQ whose answer did not render on fetch, and no free-credit allowance is stated on the homepage, pricing page, startups solution page or any help-centre page we could read. Third-party write-ups claim 100 free credits with no credit card; that is unconfirmed on any LeadMagic-owned page and is not repeated here as fact
The catch
It sources contacts; it does not check ones you already hold on any channel but email. There is no phone validation as distinct from mobile finding, no line type, carrier or HLR data and no IP channel, so fraud screening and number-deliverability work need another vendor

Hunter.io logo6. Hunter.io

Best for domain-first email finding with built-in verification

Pick Hunter.io when your prospecting starts from company domains and you want found addresses with confidence scores plus verification in one simple tool, and phone numbers are not the priority.

Starting price
$49/mo for 2,000 credits ($34/mo billed yearly, -30%); 2,000 credits = up to 2,000 email searches or up to 4,000 verifications (verification costs 0.5 credit)
Free option
Free plan: 50 credits/mo (= up to 100 verifications or 50 searches), 1 connected email account, 500 recipients per sequence, basic Discover filters, unlimited team members
The catch
Email-only: no phone number or IP address validation/intelligence

Migration effort

Start by separating the two jobs Prospeo does for you. If you use the 41-filter search to build lists, that capability has to be replaced deliberately, not assumed. If you only use the reveal, a profile-URL endpoint is a drop-in. Either way, credits do not roll over anywhere on Prospeo, so time the move to the end of a cycle rather than paying for a balance you will abandon, and remember removing a seat destroys its credits on the spot.

Prospeo alternatives FAQ

What is the best Prospeo alternative?

If the searchable database is what you use, Apollo.io and FullEnrich cover that ground and Findymail covers the browser motion. If you already have the people and only need contact details, 1Lookup takes a profile URL and returns a verified work email per lookup, with no per-seat charge and no separate credit pool.

Is there a Prospeo alternative that is not priced per seat?

Yes. Prospeo prices both the plan and its credits per user, so a three-seat team pays three plan prices, and removing a seat destroys that seat's credits. FullEnrich and Anymail Finder both publish unlimited users on every plan, and 1Lookup bills per lookup with no seat concept at all. The table above records what each vendor publishes.

Do Prospeo credits roll over?

No. Prospeo's help centre states unused credits expire at the end of each billing cycle on every plan, yearly plans release all twelve months of credits upfront and lose the unused balance at renewal, and switching billing period destroys add-on credits immediately. Expiry rules are the sharpest difference between the vendors on this shortlist.

Can Prospeo verify an email I already have?

No. Prospeo publishes no standalone verification, no phone validation and no IP product: verification only ever arrives attached to a find. If you need to check addresses, numbers or IPs you already hold, that is a separate tool, or an API that does both jobs on one credit balance.

Test the all-in-one option first

1Lookup’s 7-day free trial includes $20 of credits across phone, email, and IP validation. Run your own numbers before you decide.
